Event| Kirsten Han: My Journey as a Singaporean Journalist

Event| Kirsten Han: My Journey as a Singaporean Journalist

The Asia Citizen Future Association (ACFA) is dedicated to connect Taiwan and Southeast Asian civil society to defend civic space.

Amid the crisis of shrinking civic space in recent years and repressive governments' crackdown on civil society organizations and human rights defenders, press freedom in Southeast Asia is facing more and more stifling restriction.

However, human rights defenders, independent journalists and media among the region have been developing innovative strategies to continue their work and defend fundamental human rights.

In this event, we invite Kirsten Han to share her work and experiences in independent journalism amid the challenging environment.

My Journey as a Singaporean Journalist
Kirsten是一位作家,她曾出版《The Singapore I Recognise: Essays on home, community, and hope》、《The Silhouette of Oppression》等書籍。 ________________________________________________________________________________________ The Asia Citizen Future Association (ACFA) is dedicated to connect Taiwan and Southeast Asian civil society to defend civic space. Contemporary Transgender Stories from Manipur: A Reading, Screening, and Conversation with Santa Khurai
